Hakan Gungor is Associate Professor of Modern Middle Eastern and Republic of Turkish History at Ordu University in Turkey. After he completed his Doctorate Degree at the Florida State University in the United States, he has been publishing numerous books and articles on Turkish and Middle Eastern History. He is the author of Turkish-American Relations in World War II: Survival of Turkish Neutrality and 2. Dünya Savaşı Yıllarında Ballkanlar’dan Filistin’e Yahudi Göçü (published in Turkish).
